Grumpy's birthday

Grumpy, or VLF055, a.k.a. Pig, has reached her 9th birthday on 21st January 2009.

Grumpy, the dominant female of the Moomins group since 2001, has been one of the most successful females in the length of her tenure, although she hasn't been very prolific recently. With nine years, she is second in age only to Zaphod, and the oldest female by years in the entire current meerkat population. Her nickname Pig comes from the fact that she is very straightforward when it comes to getting her fair share of egg, in the weights box.
